Erika loves working in many different mediums; paint, wood, stone, sculpture, and mixed media. Since graduating from University with a degree in Marine Science, she’s worked as a Fisheries Biologist in Florida and Hawaii, a deckhand on Tall Ships worldwide, and as a Kayak and Whitewater Rafting Guide in the Caribbean and the Pacific Northwest of America.
This variety of jobs allowed her to travel the globe, discovering beauty around every corner. These experiences have provided her with a rich and vibrant canvas of memories, and have inspired her to share this love of nature and wilderness through art.
This year in KOAST, she will focus on painting canvases and a variety of wood cutouts with acrylics. She especially loves using acrylic fluid art on animal, plant, and wave shapes that she cuts out of wood and mdf.
