I was born in Christchurch and trained at Auckland Technical Institute in Jewellery making, Illustration and Photography.

My jewellery making experience feeds into my art works for which I use a variety of media and techniques including decoupage, collage, paint effects and patinas. My materials include sculptural metal and found objects. Many of my works feature wrapping and pleating of metal to create textural overlays on my sculptural forms.

I really enjoy using recycled materials, transforming them in different contexts to imbue them with new meaning. As well as my smaller domestic works, I also work on a larger scale, having completed commissions for larger works in New Zealand and abroad.
