Located in the historic Mangōnui Courthouse on the picturesque Mangōnui Harbour waterfront, Mangōnui Gallery is a collective of esteemed Far North artists. The village of Mangōnui is a popular art destination, featuring four galleries within easy walking distance.
At Mangōnui Gallery, visitors will find one of the resident artists present daily; happy to engage in conversation about their work or provide space for quiet contemplation. The gallery showcases original handmade pieces of exceptional quality, blending timeless craftsmanship with contemporary styles.
Representing a wide range of disciplines, the gallery’s collection includes embossed leather, oil and acrylic paintings, wood and resin sculpture, patina copper wall art, printmaking, mixed media artworks, wooden boxes, ceramics, glass, pounamu, semi-precious and handmade silver, and lampworked glass jewellery.
