Sandy Wright

Sandy Wright, originally from the UK, has called New Zealand’s beautiful Bay of Islands home for the past 20 years. Her paintings reflect her passion for writing and illustrating children’s books, intertwined with a deep love for New Zealand’s native flora and fauna. 

Working primarily in acrylic on canvas, Sandy’s artwork combines storytelling with vibrant depictions of New Zealand birds. Each painting tells its own story, crafted with the aim of bringing a smile to the viewer’s face.
