Elisabeth Wakeford is a self-taught artist whose work is inspired by the textures, colours, and ever-changing beauty of the natural world. Her creative process begins with nature as the muse and unfolds organically, allowing each piece to tell its own story.
Elisabeth works primarily with watercolour, watercolour inks, and acrylic inks. Her background as a Floral Art Designer has given her a strong foundation in the principles and elements of design; something that informs her compositions and enhances her intuitive approach.
She has exhibited her work in countries across Africa, Europe, and New Zealand, with pieces now held in collections around the world. Guided by instinct and inspired by the world around her, Elisabeth’s work continues to evolve; gentle, expressive, and full of movement.
