Lin Marinkovic
Painting

Lin Marinkjovic is a Kerikeri-based artist whose practice is rooted in realism, whether working in watercolour, pencil, or charcoal. Art has always been an integral part of her life; she has sketched since childhood, favouring pencil and charcoal for their expressive possibilities. Since moving to Kerikeri, Lin has studied watercolour under Maxine Bell, drawn to the medium’s fluidity and gestural brushwork.

Her subject matter is diverse, spanning still life, local fruits, seascapes, horses, the human figure, and everyday scenes. Most recently, Lin has begun experimenting with acrylics and mixed media, expanding her repertoire while maintaining her signature realistic style.
