NZ.DK Living Art is a creative studio led by artist Liselotte Hamer, whose roots trace back to Denmark. Based in Kerikeri, the studio produces unique works that celebrate the connection between material, place, and process across multiple mediums including textiles, ceramics, and painting.
A signature offering is the handmade Nonu felted scarves, crafted from New Zealand Merino wool and Mulberry silk fibres. Using the Nonu wet felting technique, these scarves are transformed into soft, lightweight pieces of sheer silk or chiffon; each one uniquely beautiful.
In addition to textiles, Liselotte creates ceramic vessels and sculptural forms inspired by organic shapes and textures. Her fluid art paintings on canvas capture nature’s spontaneity, bringing colour, movement, and emotion to life.
Every creation from NZ.DK Living Art reflects a passion for materials, a love of nature, and a commitment to slow, meaningful craftsmanship. Whether a scarf that wraps you in warmth, a tactile ceramic piece, or a vibrant painting, each work is one-of-a-kind and thoughtfully made.
