Phyllis Rintoul grew up on a farm in Northland alongside her parents, five brothers, and sister. Life on the farm was busy, and it wasn’t until her own children began attending after-school art lessons that she was inspired to pick up a paintbrush and join in.
A lifelong lover of the arts, Phyllis has primarily created work for family, friends, and charitable causes. Her passion lies in realism, though she holds a deep appreciation for all artistic styles. She paints for pleasure, drawn to the challenges and constant learning that art offers; finding it both absorbing and rewarding.
