Raewyn King is a full-time Kerikeri-based artist with a lifelong dedication to creative expression. For over 48 years, she has lived and worked in Northland, previously co-running a stained-glass studio in Peria where she designed and created intricate glass artworks for 26 years alongside her husband.
Now focusing on mixed media, wood sculpture, and acrylic painting, Raewyn is known for her finely detailed work and distinctive Kiwiana-inspired pieces. Her art reflects a deep connection to Aotearoa’s culture and character, often blending craftsmanship with playful storytelling. Raewyn continues to explore new forms while staying true to the joy she finds in intricate, hands-on creation.
Raewyn will be exhibiting at Little Black Gallery during KOAST as part of Rhythm of the North, an exhibition designed to celebrate KOAST - Tai Tokerau Art Trail and our Northland artists.
