Wayne Timson
Sculpture

Originally from the UK, Wayne Timson trained as a metal fabricator specializing in large industrial units. It wasn’t until he relocated to New Zealand nearly 20 years ago that his artistic side fully emerged.

Wayne creates unique metal artworks for the home and garden, ranging from small pieces like bees to large sculptures such as an eagle with a 3.5-metre wingspan. His work primarily uses reclaimed metal and recycled wood; materials that might otherwise go to landfill; bringing new life to discarded resources.

Alongside his art, Wayne also designs and crafts furniture combining metal and wood. For him, the process of transforming waste materials into meaningful, creative pieces is deeply rewarding.
